Outside Sales Representative

Our outside full time sales representatives employed 2 + years have an average income of $70,230. Almost 20% earned over $100,000 in 2006. We still need additional outside sales representatives for our growing, financially sound, Elgin manufacturer/distributor, established in 1974. You’ll be selling over 100,000 items including cleaning chemicals, tools and equipment, maintenance supplies, paper products, shipping supplies, lighting, gloves, wipers, rags, industrial safety products, floor mats, drill bits, fasteners, etc. You’ll also have pricing authority and some of the lowest costs in the Midwest. No paperwork, no reports to fill out, no travel, no evenings, thorough training, and minimal supervision that will make you feel like you own your own business. Almost 40% of our 70-person sales force has worked here over 10 years.  We’re opened 7 am to 7 pm.  Over 97% of stocking items are shipped the same day.  We treat our sales force like customers! 

Here’s our “Fast Cash” program.  Or how you could put $4,900 in your pocket your very first month.    

1.      Make 20 cold calls per day verified by a business card, envelope, or stationary.  Fax those in weekly to our office.  We’ll send you $2 per cold call immediately plus $3 per cold call at the end of the month as long as you’re making our very reasonable quota.  This is 20 cold calls per day x $2 plus $3 = $5 per cold call = $100 per day before commissions.   

2.      We also provide you $3 worth of free samples to hand out at our cost ($6 - $7 at retail) for every cold call at no cost to you! 

3.      Next, generate $300 a week in commissions with our broad line and reasonable prices by selling $1,500 a week in sales at 20% commission.  We’ll double that weekly and advance it to you at the end of each week $300 x 2 = $600 weekly x 4 weeks = $2,400 in advances/cash flow. 

4.      At the end of the month we also pay salespeople $25 for each new account (e.g. if a salesperson opened 20 new accounts: 20 x $25 = $500). 

Look at this estimated pay example:
            400 cold calls @ $5/stop                                                                          = $2,000
            $6,000 in sales at 20% including bonus (for achieving quota) = $1,200 x 2   = $2,400
            20 new accounts @ $25/new acct.                                                           = $  500  
                                                                                         Estimated Total:            $4,900 

Thus, you’re pocketing $4,900 on just $6,000 in sales! 

Important: Our compensation system is subject to other important provisions in our contract.
The ideal candidates must possess the following:  

Outside commission only sales experience:

1.      Ability to make 2,400 cold calls in your first year & generate new sales revenue growth

2.      Ability to work independently

3.      Contractual commitment to work full-time (absolutely no sidelines or concurrent jobs without written permission from 1st Ayd).

 

The successful candidate can achive:

 

4.      1st year commission only income up to high 60’s

5.      2nd year commission only income up to low 70’s

6.      75% employee paid Blue Cross-Blue Shield Medical Insurance

7.      100% employee paid 401K is available

8.      Through classroom and field training

9.      Option to recruit and train others for 10% override plus other benefits.

10.  For long distance recruits who are making our quotas reimbursement of mileage to drive to our monthly Saturday sales training meetings.
